The Company - is a well known provider of energy reduction solutions. They are currently looking to expand their activities into related areas. A key element of this strategy is centred upon the production of alternative fuels. In order to push this programme forward they are actively seeking an experienced manager to take responsibility for a newly acquired company. The company designs and manufactures specialist equipment used to produce biodiesel. The position offers an ambitious individual an ideal opportunity to take a central role in developing an innovative and dynamic company into an international leader in this field.
Working directly with the Chairman you will;
- Ensure that engineering and technical knowledge/capabilities support the company’s objectives
- Prepare budgets and cost justifications where required to enable the Board to make effective decisions
- Ensure that all operations within his/her area of responsibility are undertaken in accordance with current and future legislation.
- Manage and co-ordinate all future technical projects from inception through to commissioning ensuring:
- timescales and budgets are achieved
- company expectations are understood and realised
- external contractors and third parties perform
- Develop and enhance relationships with key individuals in customers, suppliers and critical third parties
