OE AEROSPACE SALES MANAGER
£50,000 -£60,000+ COMMISSION
OUTLINE JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Group Vice President Sales
Responsible for: To sell Custom Engineered Value Added Components.
Main Purpose: Individually and together with the VP of Sales identify opportunities to develop profitable long term relationships with OEs within the aerospace, aviation and defence markets based upon Northern Engineering and Rubbercraft collective expertise and reputations
Location: Probable home based ideally close to one of the Aerospace clusters – activity to span UK in the first instance and latterly Europe
Operational Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving personal monthly sales goals. (including number of customer visits, number of new enquiries, volume of prospecting activities and hit rate for new enquiries to new orders).
- Ensure that company profile within target market place is secured and improved.
- Responsible for professionally securing new key prospects within target markets.
- Responsible for professionally converting key prospects into long term key accounts within an acceptable time frame.
- Prepares action plans for the development of new sales leads into new customers.
- Executes business plan to ensure attainment of profitable company sales growth.
- Up Sells Sanders Industries wider range of products, including EMI Products, Composite Products, Specialist Mouldings and other polymeric related products.
- Assists with the development of marketing plans where required.
- Prepares for meetings with clear meeting objectives, ensuring that customer meetings are controlled to ensure the most productive business development situation for Northern Engineering
- Gains target RFQ’s from market place, working to ensure that relevant level of technical information is gained.
- Presents major quotations to market place and ensures that good negotiating skills are used to maximise margin and to ensure that quotations are converted into orders.
- Support the VP of sales with development of a business plan for the Aerospace, Aviation and Defence market place.
- Prepares visit reports for customer meetings with relevant key information, ensuring that any specific actions are clearly communicated within Northern Engineering. Furthermore ensuring that action plans are tracked and managed to ensure development of business.
- Adheres to all company policies at all times.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
