DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
£60,000 + Comission and excellent benefits package
The individual will be responsible for the pursuit and delivery of profitable, contract backed business by optimising the utilisation of the existing logistics supply chain management and warehousing capabilities and by extension of value added services. This role will need to focus on the expanding business potential of the ‘port centric logistics’ concept that has been steadily developing across the business. The post holder will deliver long term new business streams through all locations where we have a meaningful port operating and warehousing capability.
The generation of marketing activities to raise the profile of our logistics capabilities, and thus expand the potential base of customers with whom we can establish profitable contractual arrangements as described.
This role will have national coverage, and office location is less important than the mobility of the individual appointed and the commitment of that individual to operate throughout the UK.
